Charles Sturt University Research Output (CRO)

CRO - Charles Sturt University Research Output is an open access digital archive, also called an institutional repository. It showcases research and scholarly outputs created by Charles Sturt University staff and students. It contributes to the growing international trend for Open Access to scholarly outputs and makes research literature freely available on line.

CRO can include a variety of content types including research output, activities, press/media and staff profiles. CRO users can control the visibility of items stored in the repository (i.e. sensitive materials can be stored and restricted from publicly view).

Assistance to use CRO is available through the Library and Research Office.

Thesis submission

It is a requirement for graduation that HDR candidate's submit a digital copy of their thesis to CRO.

CRO Research codes

Field of Research (FoR) codes are used to categorise all research outputs and must be assigned in CRO.

The Australian and New Zealand Standard Research Classification (ANZSRC) has been developed for use in the collection, analysis and dissemination of research and experimental development (R&D) statistics in Australia and New Zealand.
