This support is to undertake short-term research projects overseas, contributing towards an Australian Masters, PhD or postdoctoral research in any field.

Australian Research Council (ARC) First Nations Discovery Scheme

The Discovery First Nations Scheme provides funding to support research programs led by an Indigenous Australian researcher. It also builds research capacity of higher degree research and early career researchers.

The ARC has an annual round calling for applications, and initial announcements are usually in September each year.
