Innovation and commercialisation

Turning ideas into reality. Anything is possible with the right team, collaboration, and partnerships.

Collaborative projects

We work collaboratively on many projects with all levels of government and industry. Examples include the Institute for Land, Water and Society and the Graham Centre.

Incubators

We're supporting the development of regional entrepreneurship, small- to medium-sized enterprises and a networked innovation ecosystem in the Central West and southern regions of NSW.

Facilities

Our facilities range from world class agricultural precincts to state-of-the-art laboratories and collaboration spaces.

How we work

We work in partnership with industry, business, government and not-for-profit organisations to answer research questions. Where possible, we also seek to translate research innovations into new products, including through licensing or collaborative development.

Successful collaborations are built from understanding end-user requirements, the environment and commercial imperatives and by focusing on outcomes. Research partnerships with Charles Sturt can provide access to discipline expertise, key networks, resources and facilities.
