Academic Staff Higher Degree by Research Workload Support Scheme (ASHDRWSS)
The 2024 application round has closed.
The Academic Staff Higher Degree by Research Workload Support Scheme assists selected Charles Sturt University Academic staff members to obtain a Research Masters, PhD or Research Professional Doctorate in areas of strategic importance to the institution.
NB. The 2024 round will be the last under the current scheme structure. The ASHDRWSS is being reviewed, and an announcement will be made if it will continue into the future and, if it does, in what format.
Scheme benefits
If you are a Charles Sturt University staff member and you are admitted to the scheme, you are eligible to receive formal workload allocation during candidature. If you undertaken your Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program through Charles Sturt University you can also receive:
- tuition fee support
- HDR Student Resource funding
- supervision funds to your Faculty
