Innovation challenges

COVID-19 has disrupted the world’s economies.

NSW Government is seeking to identify businesses that intend to accelerate the commercialisation of research products that address the many disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this, the government is partnering with universities and CSIRO in New South Wales to find solutions to a series of challenges.

Innovation districts are where research institutions and companies cluster and connect with startups, business incubators and accelerators and can network and accelerate commercialisation.

12 partner institutions have joined this project led by NSW Treasury, including 11 of the universities in NSW and CSIRO which form the Boosting Business Innovation Program network.

Innovation district partners will identify businesses with connections with their area, either through research relationships or physical location, which have high potential products or services that address the challenge statement.

Charles Sturt University Innovation Hub is proud to support businesses in the Riverina-Murray, Central West and Mid-North Coast areas through these series of challenges.
