Charles Sturt University continues to deliver strong outcomes in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and social impact across our University Strategy.

THE’s Sustainability Impact Rankings, formerly known as the THE Impact Rankings, are the only global university rankings that measure universities’ progress towards the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. They assess university programs and initiatives across areas including research, teaching and learning, partnerships and engagement, and facilities and operations..

Charles Sturt achieved strong results across individual Sustainable Development Goals, including ranking:

  • in the top 2 per cent for Gender Equality
  • in the top 9 per cent for Reduced Inequalities
  • in the top 3 per cent for Climate Action
