Director, Research Services and Dean of Graduate Studies
Professor Jason White has over 20 years of experience in research at a number of different universities and institutes. He joined Charles Sturt University as Director, Research Services and Dean of Graduate Studies in June 2018.
Background
Jason has had key project management roles in programs funded by Meat and Livestock Australia and Muscular Dystrophy Australia and has had significant involvement in collaborative projects with the Food Safety Centre within the School of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Tasmania.
Advisory roles
At the University of Melbourne he has played a prominent role in the area of research ethics and integrity being on the Animal Ethics committee, as a Research Integrity Advisor and member of the Universities Research Ethics and Integrity Steering Committee.

He is a Graduate of Charles Sturt University and the University of Melbourne, being particularly proud of his rich family history at Charles Sturt University.
Overseas experience
He has spent time at the European Molecular Biology Laboratories in Rome and at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
Community
He currently sits on the committee of management, as Research Director, of the not-for-profit organisation Muscular Dystrophy Australia and has served on NHMRC Grant review Panels.
