In November 2022, Stan Grant delivered the annual Don Aitkin Memorial Lecture at the University of Canberra. He spoke to the significance of the Uluru Statement from the Heart as a call to be accountable to a higher power than politics: Love.

In November 2022, in partnership with the Costa Rican Embassy, Yindyamarra hosted a global cohort of Ambassadors at Charles Sturt University’s Canberra campus. Professor Mark Evans delivered a speech on Saving Democracy followed by a panel facilitated by Stan Grant with Professor Mark Evans, Michelle Grattan AO, and Jack Jacobs.

In October 2022, Stan Grant launched the Yindyamarra Pledge for Democracy at Charles Sturt University’s Canberra campus. Stan delivered a speech on Yindyamarra and Professor Mark Evans introduced the audience to the Yindyamarra Pledge, as a call to renew Australian democracy by rooting it in deeper Wiradjuri traditions.
